A cleansing gel-based facial wash, suitable for everyday use to help clear and prevent blemishes. Skin Clearing Facial Wash removes excess oil without overdrying the skin. Massage this facial wash which contains Community Trade organic tea tree oil, and tamanu oil, into skin using fingertips or a pad and rinse off. It also contains menthol for a refreshing zing.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser – $21.95
Treat skin to an instant foaming cleanser that makes light work of make-up, dirt and impurities, featuring naturally-derived active ingredients including organic tea tree oil and tamanu oil. Massage with a little water into skin using fingertips and rinse-off with warm water, for beautifully refreshed skin.

Tea Tree Blemish Gel – $4.95
Small enough to take on the move! To help cleanse and combat blemishes without drying out skin, apply a small amount to pimples with the hand sponge tipped applicator wand, for targeted action. It includes Community Trade organic tea tree oil, organic honey and white willow extract. Also included is tamanu oil and lemon tea tree oil, for skin caring benefits.

Tea Tree Face Mask – $18.95
Give blemished skin extra TLC. This cooling face mask helps remove impurities and absorbs excess oil while soothing blemish-prone skin, leaving skin feeling deeply cleansed, calm and refreshed. Simply smooth mask onto face and neck, leave for between five to 10 minutes then remove by rinsing off. Unlike other face masks this won’t dry out skin, and can be used once or twice weekly after cleansing.

A handy portable stick to conceal blemishes, without over drying the skin. This clever concealer is available in two great shades to blend with skin tone and contains a triple bend of natural active ingredients – Community Trade Tea Tree Oil, Lemon tea tree oil and tamanu oil – to improve the complexion. Apply a small amount directly onto blemishes and blend.

More about Tea Tree
The enterprising farmers in Kenya who provide the tea tree oil used by The Body Shop, have been growing tea tree organically since 2007, as a way of diversifying their income and planning for the future.
Once the tea tree has grown to two metres tall, these experts hand-pick the leaves. This helps ensure The Body Shop receives higher quality oil – as only the best leaves are chosen. Each leaf is mixed with water in the distillation unit, and pressurised steam is passed through the leaves, which releases the oil. The oil and vapours are cooled, condensing further.
Any excess water is removed and the oil is then ready to be used by The Body Shop in the Tea Tree range of skin care products, where it’s mixed with the formulas to deliver clinically-proven Tea Tree results.

The new, reformulated Tea Tree Range will be available in-store from 3 August 2009.
