Monday mornings are miserable enough without the painstaking task of hacking off weekend stubble- meaning a painful start to the week.  The Braun Series 3 Mondayitis poll* reveals that almost 70 percent of Australian men regularly begin their working week suffering with Monday blues and a face full of stubble only aggravates the situation.

Commonly known as “Mondayitis,” these blues can be described as the sinking feeling that begins late on Sunday night when the realisation kicks in that the weekend is over.  The research reveals that almost 60 percent of men aged 18-34 believe the Monday morning shave signals the end to their weekend and 25 percent admit it directly resulted in them feeling blue at the start of the working week.
