Three days to a perfect tan:
Over three days, Tantasia™ builds to a perfect colour that lasts much longer than most self-tanners because, believe it or not, it’s your own tan. Apply once a day and watch the colour develop. When you have enough tan (does that ever happen?), enjoy your new colour. Then simply touch up later on should you see the colour fading.

Application:
•    Squeeze an amount the size of a 10-cent piece onto the palm of your hand and smooth on one section at a time until Tantasia™ is absorbed

•    Repeat daily to build colour until a golden tan has been achieved. Use frequently to maintain colour

Ingredients:
Acetyl Tyrosine & Monk’s Pepper (vitex angus castus)
•    These two ingredients stimulate melanin synthesis, allowing the shade to mimic your natural tanned colour
•    Acetyl tyrosine accelerates the melanin synthesis reaction, while the beta-endorphin-like effect of Monk’s Pepper leads to melanin formation, with or without sun exposure*
•    The contribution of both extracts promotes a regular, even and persistent tan while simultaneously enhancing the natural protection factor of the skin against UV radiation

Copper Gluconate
•    An enzymatic bioactivator, is an additional source of tyrosine delivery to increase a more even colour

Dihydroxyacetone
•    Bonded to a vegetable natural amino acid compound
•    Advanced technology using an amino acid that interacts with the skin’s proteins activates a beautifully natural-appearing, intense colour change
•    When spread evenly on the skin, the acetylated amino acid is hydrolyzed by the enzymes of the epidermis and then combines with DHA for instant colour, compensating for any shade differences in skin areas

Breast cancer is an everyday reality that touches the lives of many women and their families.  In order to raise awareness, not only for the 2010 Breast Cancer Awareness Month but throughout the year jane iredale are proud to introduce a new version of our popular Sugar&Butter Lip Exfoliator and Plumper called Phoenix.

Phoenix is a beautiful uplifting pink, perfect for spring. The mythical Phoenix is known for its resiliency and renewal just as cancer survivors are. This soft, scrumptious pink plumper is paired with an organic brown sugar exfoliator to evoke the joy and daily pleasures of femininity, with ingredients that honour women’s health.

jane iredale and Living Beyond Breast Cancer – Enhancing women’s lives one beautiful
step at a time

From September 2010 through September 2011, jane iredale will donate $2 from each sale of Phoenix Sugar&Butter to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC), an education and support organisation whose goal is to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. Because of their mission and demonstrated investment in education and outreach, LBBC was a natural fit with the jane iredale brand. Since 2008, Breast Cancer Awareness promotions such as Christina PureMoist Lip Colour and In the Pink PureGloss For Lips have enabled jane iredale to raise nearly $80,000.00 for LBBC.

Rise Above with Love™
The launch of Phoenix is the first exciting step in jane iredale’s new Rise Above with Love campaign, kicking off in September 2010. This celebratory campaign will focus on the emotional and physical support network surrounding women who are living with, and through, breast cancer. Stay tuned for more information about the impactful outreach programs and initiatives that will be part of the Rise Above with Love campaign. Brush on cheeks, nose, chin and forehead for the ultimate, sun-kissed look. So-Bronze 1 is a classic terra-cotta color with tiny specks of gold mica-not to add sparkle, but to add glow. So-Bronze 2 is slightly darker, with the addition of a quarter moon of pressed gold powder-just like sunshine!

• Use the colors in So-Bronze 2 separately or swirl the brush over both colors for a truly sun-kissed look.

• Use the gold in So-Bronze 2 on eyes or lips.

• For a look that sculpts the face, apply a lighter base to the center of the face (include eyes and around the mouth, but not the nose), a darker one on the outside perimeter, and then the bronzer. This pulls the center of the face out and mimjcs the effect that a key light would have. It’s a very effective way of adding definition and a trick often used by TV and film makeup artists.
