Customers are invited to return Jurlique packaging such as bottles or tubes in exchange for a 10% discount off replacement purchases. Give & Gift will be a permanent addition to the service in every Jurlique store and aims to raise awareness for responsible recycling.

Australian beauty company Jurlique proudly introduces new Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator, a natural and truly high performing exfoliating treatment that gently helps to exfoliate, leaving skin looking refreshed and clear.

The unique formula incorporates a biodynamic* blend of ingredients grown on the Jurlique farm + Australian Super Fruits + a mix of fruit acids + enzymatic actives + natural alpha hydroxy acids + key organic ingredients.

About Australian Super Fruits:

For thousands of years, indigenous Australians have consumed desert fruits for their nutritional and medicinal values.  They contain vitamins, minerals, fruit acids and phytosterols to help enrich, moisturise and help protect skin.  These desert plants have adapted to extreme climatic conditions with protective mechanisms to withstand the harsh dry climate and extreme heat and cold of the Australian deserts. The fruits are sustainably harvested without degradation to the environment.

Quandong also known as “wild or desert peach” comes from a tree native to Australia, which is related to the Sandalwood tree. Quandong Extract is high in Vitamin C and essential fatty acids to help improve the complexion of skin.  The fruit acids assist with gentle exfoliation.

Desert Lime is a tree that thrives in the semi-arid area of Eastern Australia.  It is rich in Vitamin C, which works as an antioxidant to promote youthful looking skin and its fruit acids assist with gentle exfoliation.

Acacia (Wattle) is a tree native to Australia and its flower is the national flower of Australia.  The Wattle produces papery seedpods, which have been used for thousands of years by indigenous Australians as flour in breads.  It acts as a gentle exfoliant in the product.

Other key ingredients include Pumpkin Enzyme, which is non-irritating and gently exfoliating, leaving skin refreshed and healthy-looking.  Sugar Cane, Lemon, Orange, Apple helps to improve dull complexions to provide a more even skin tone and brighter, clearer complexion. Natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Lactic, Malic and Citric Acid promote cell turnover for a brighter, clearer complexion.  The addition of Willow Bark Extract improves tone, texture and appearance with natural Beta Hydroxy Acids.

Prickly Pear Stem and Green Tea Leaf invigorate the skin with antioxidants and humectants to make the skin feel healthier and hydrated while helping to promote firmer skin. Prickly Pear Flower helps soften fine lines and wrinkles through gently exfoliation.

Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator contains no Parabens, PEGs, Artificial Colours, Artificial fragrances or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.

The Jurlique Preservative System contains a natural and potent anti-microbial agent called Totarol.   Totarol is a natural plant extract, sustainably extracted from recycled fence posts made decades ago out of the New Zealand Totara tree and has broad- spectrum anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activity.

How To Use:

Cleanse skin and apply thin layer to face and neck, avoiding eye area.  Leave for up to 5 minutes, rinse off with water.  Follow with moisturiser and sunscreen.  Use 2-3 times/week.  If irritation occurs, stop use immediately.  Dermatologist tested.  Shake before use.

Sun sensitivity alert:

This product contains natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.  Use a sunscreen; wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Long the subject of rituals in ancient cultures, the delicate star shaped jasmine is renowned for its nightly blooming ritual and distinctive scent. In traditional aromatherapy Jasmine is known to have therapeutic properties and its calming and soothing effects make it an ideal aroma for body and bath products.

A Precious Oil
One litre of “Jasmine absolute” is made from approximately eight million tiny white flowers, equating to one ton of Jasmine flowers to produce one litre of this precious essential oil. The Jasmine plant flowers all day but the intensity of the odour is most pronounced in the very late night / early morning hours, when the pollinators are out harvesting their nectar, which is why the flowers are best hand-picked at dawn.
